for drivers.
Scott Onstad grew up around trucking. His father drove for years and served in the military. Scott started behind the wheel, working for someone else — then spent years learning the carrier side of the business from the inside. What he found was an industry that took more than it needed to.
So in 2017, Scott got his own DOT numbers. He leased a truck, then bought one. Built Stat Inc from the ground up, one trailer at a time. He still drives his own truck today.
He built the company he wished had existed when he was a driver.
